Families with children in East Side Schools call (216) 991-6272.

Families with children in West Side Schools call (216) 771-9600.

Families with children who are not in school can call either network.

IHN serves families with children and teens: single mothers, single fathers and couples with children under 18 years year old or who are expecting a baby. We also serve pregnant women and women without children who are exiting foster care on a space available basis.

Guest families are welcome in IHN for 60 days. The program is open 24 hours a day, everyday of the year. Not only will IHN provide food, shelter and transportation, but it will help you find housing, work, public benefit programs, day care and other things you need to get back on your feet.

Families needing help can call IHN’s East Side Office at (216) 991-6272 or IHN’s West Side Office at (216) 771-9600. Inquiry calls are welcome Monday thru Friday, 9AM – 5PM. Morning calls are preferred. A social worker will introduce the program to potential guests and conduct a short phone interview. If guests meet the basic criteria they will be invited to the office for a face to face interview so the family can learn more about IHN and IHN can learn more about the family.

IHN conducts a drug and alcohol screen and guests agree to remain drug and alcohol free during their stay. We also perform a criminal background check and the type and recency of offense may affect your eligibility. IHN also requires birth certificates, photo id’s, social security cards, immunization records and a recent TB test for each guest. IHN can help guests procure these items after you enter the Network, if necessary.
